The next day after leaving the Sojourner (sadly) Kristi and I made a pact to hit every marina we could on our last day to try and find a sailboat we wanted. We got up early and drove all the way out to the

(Port Angeles marina)
(that's her impatiently waiting for the old guy)

(this is looking out in the Straits of Juan de Fuca)

We walked every dock looking, but nope, she wasn't there...on to the next marina!

(John Wayne Marina)

and once again, she's no where to be found....
So we're off to ...

(Port Ludlow)

but nope, she's not here either....
on to the Beautiful little town of Poulsbo...

(Poulsbo Marina)
(this is a boat I tried to buy a month prior and someone had beat me to it, she's a Pacific Seacraft "Flicka" and is only 20' in length, but blue water ready!)

once again we walked every dock to no avail and after it got dark we headed across the street to have some seafood and dropped into a little "fish & chips" place to grab a bite.

We got a room at the Poulsbo motel and I have to say we Highly Recommend it, they have exceptional rooms, comfy beds and a staff that went out of there way to help us with directions and local info!

On the road again....

(Brownsville Marina)

And we found her !!!

She's a beautiful "1998 Pacific Seacraft 25"

I was impressed, but couldn't commit

Kristi and I drove straight through to Port Townsend to meet up with the owner of the Sojourner and check out the boat. We slept the night at the Motel right next to the Port Townsend marina docks and got up early to go find her, we started on A/B dock and saw a lot of nice boats but not the one we came all this way to see. Next was "C" dock and still she was no where to be found, but when decending the ramp on "D" THERE SHE WAS!

The owner showed up a couple minutes later and we got down to business checking out all the systems aboard. She's a very spacious, capable and beautiful boat.....

There was only one thing I was not willing to do!

And that was maintain all of these rubber seems on all the teak decking!

So, sadly I had to let her go....and Kristi was about as bummed as I was....

So, what do you do after such a let down?

.

You go looking for another boat of course!!!
